Download Xopus
Try Xopus on your own computer: It's easy! The Xopus download is free and contains a license for your own workstation.
Please read the Xopus EULA carefully before downloading the product.
Quick start
In just a few steps you're ready to edit with Xopus:
- Make sure you have a webserver running on your computer
- Unpack the Xopus archive in the www directory of your webserver
- Open Internet Explorer or Firefox
- Surf to http://localhost/Xopus/examples/simple/start.html
Licensing
The downloaded archive is the complete product. The product contains licenses for localhost and 127.0.0.1. Xopus will only start if it is accessed from http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1. Additional licence files for other domains can later be added without reinstalling.
Evaluate Xopus
You can get a 30 day evaluation license to try Xopus on your own domain. This license can be used for development and evaluation purposes. It is a free license for one domain and one user.

Dictionary Files
Download Xopus Spelling Checker Dictionary Files
This zip should be unpacked in the same directory as your Xopus implementation and contains dictionaries for German, English, Spanish, Swiss, French and Dutch.
Also available are: Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Swedish. Please contact Xopus Support for more information if you need these files.

An amazing product. But what is up with named users? Come on, please fix your licensing. I would love to use this on an enduser website, but you have no license supporting that. Having a large dynamic company where people and partners come and go, also makes this a bit problematic. You guys have been here for some years by now - and you have always had a fantastic product.. please let me and the companies I've worked for, go ahead and use it :-)

Hello, I own a small web development studio and we are looking for online xml editor. Xopus looks very good but.. how can we sell our products if we can only buy xopus for our own? Looks like we cant use it on our sites too, what if we have 1000 users per day on some site, and than it increased to 3000 users per day? Even if we agree to pay extra money for extra licensee it will be too late, because site don't work and all user go away :(((

There is no need to be afraid that Xopus will stop working if too many people use it at the same time. We monitor your usage, and if you're structurally exceeding your license, we will notify you and ask you to upgrade your license.
So yes, you can use Xopus! |
