We like the new properties window, it's so much convinient that attributes editor pop up window. thank you.
Now my question, is there any way to access properties window and have our own controls in there ? For e.g. for certain attribute values, we need to put our auto complete control, which hits the server and get the values. |

Not directly. As in Xopus 3, you can do this with look-ups. But it might be interesting to have auto-complete support in Xopus, perhaps like the datalists from HTML5.

Thanks Sjoerd, but look-ups pop into new browser window, we have jquery auto complete as inline div in Xopus right now, with XOPUS 4, this div is being overlapped with properties window, it would be great if you guys can release api for adding our own controls in property window.

Actually the look-ups pop into an iframe now, not a new window, but that doesn't help you much probably.

look-ups in iframe is better option. but still it is pop up, your property window feature is excellent, user can edit the document without any pop ups (attribute editor, look ups or custom floating div) covering the document.

We are not very familiar with Chinese, or how Chinese is input on a computer. Looking at the Wikipedia page for Chinese character input, it looks like you are composing a character at a time, while using multiple key-strokes.
Xopus filters the keystrokes, I think. Can you send a screenshot of what Chinese input in Xopus looks like to support@xopus.com ? |
