Hi; I am helping the lead developer who did the integration of XOpus into our product, and would appreciate any help that you might be able to provide.
Using XOpus 2, our integration worked fine with tables: the target XML Schema as an HTML table model (pretty straightforward). After integrating XOpus 3, everything but table support seems to be fine: when the Insert Table toolbar is clicked, and a multi-row table is chosen to be inserted (say, a 4 x 4 table) all that happens is a single row is inserted (for the above example 4 columns, one row.) In XOpus 2, it worked properly, but now, no matter how many rows you select from the graphical table inserter tool, only one row is inserted. Also, pasting in tables is problematic: a number of rows above the top of the table are deleted when pasting, so the workaround (for both of the above problems) is to do tables in Word or a spreadsheet, copy the table with a few blank rows on top, paste it in, then clean it up. Of course, this is not acceptable to our customers, and I was hoping someone might recommend a quick solution for this XOpus 2 to XOpus 3 migration problem. Thanks in advance Ryan |

Hi Ryan,
It cases such as the one your describe it might be helpful just to mail us directly at support@xopus.com In order to allow us to take a look at your setup, you can use the key-combination Ctrl+Alt+R when Xopus has started up and send us a new case. It sounds like the problem is in the configuration of the table. This configuration tells Xopus which element behave how in a table, which then helps Xopus create and manage tables. |

Thanks for the replyHi; I will write to support: usually, I try a forum posting first, for things that other users may have already figured out and might post to a forum. |
